A Rhino Records adiou
novamente a versão de 40
anos do álbum "End Of The
Century".
Prometida para ano
passado, devido a pandemia o
lançamento foi adiado para o
último dia 5 de Março de
2021, mas não foi o que
aconteceu.
De acordo com o site
do Jary Pekka,
Ramones Heaven,
o lançamento ficará para
Agosto ou Setembro desse
ano, podendo inclusive ser
lançado apenas em 2022.
End
Of The Century é o quinto
álbum de estúdio da banda
originalmente produzido pelo
lendário Phil Spector. Este
álbum é o álbum dos Ramones
com maior sucesso de todos
os tempos, alcançando a
posição # 44 na US Billboard
200, # 14 na UK Albums Chart,
e gerou os singles "Baby, I
Love You" e "Do You Remember
Rock 'n' Roll Radio? ",
Ambos lançados na Europa.
Junto com as faixas do filme e álbum Rock 'N' Roll High School, End Of The
Century foi a primeira vez
que os Ramones gravaram e
trabalharam em Los Angeles.
Este lançamento será uma
visão geral definitiva de
seu trabalho em Los Angeles
com material bônus associado
ao filme.
Em comemoração ao 40º aniversário do End Of The Century, Rick Rubin e Ed
Stasium estão trabalhando em
um remix simplificado em
contraste com as exuberantes
mixagens originais de
Spector. Este álbum receberá
o mesmo tratamento Super
Deluxe dos lançamentos
anteriores dos Ramones.
